前者表示一個。。。而另一個。。。；後者表示一個。。。而其他的。。。

簡單說來another就是表示剩下中的一部分，而anothers表示它的複數

對於我的觀點來說，another 本來就是一個單數。

要說“其他的”複數是Other。

只有One 。。。。after another。

沒有One 。。。。after anothers。

（如果要說“其它的”，那就：another one，another‘s （名詞））

所以說只有one after another， 沒有another（s）

the other是特指的。another就是泛指的。

而且the other是兩者中的另外一方，而another就是多方之中的一方。

比如說有兩個人，一個是學生，一個工人，就可以說：one is a student， and the other is a worker。

如果說三個人，一個是學生，一個是工人，一個是老師，就可以說：one is a student， one is a worker and another one is a teacher。
