fish表示“魚”時是個單復同形的詞，表示複數時不能加-es，更不能用much來修飾

如：Many fish are raised in the lake。 湖裡養了許多魚。Five fish died yesterday。 昨天五條魚死了。

fish的單複數相同並不是說它是不可數名詞。當我們需要表示不同種類的魚時，可以加-es。

如：The paper is about some fresh-water fishes。 這篇文章講的是一些淡水魚的情況。
