四、修飾動詞區別

1。 no longer / not。。。 any longer 習慣用來修飾表示狀態的持續動詞（如wait， live， work等）。如：

Don’t wait any longer。 別再等了。

She could not keep up with him any longer。她不能再趕上他了。

2。 no more / not。。。 any more通常用來修飾表示具體動作的瞬間動詞（如go， stand， visit等）。如：

We couldn‘t stand it any more。 我們不能再忍受了。

五、作用區別

兩者都可用來修飾動詞，在句中作狀語。當no more作“不再（有、存在）”解時，還可作定語和賓語。如：

Later when they are far away from the earth and there is no more gravity， they find they are unable to stay in one place。 過後，當他們遠離地球，到了不再有地球引力的地方時，他們發現自己不可能停留在一個地方不動。（作定語）

I have no more to say。 我沒有什麼要說的了。（作賓語）
