由介詞加上後面的名詞、代詞或名詞短語組成。介加名、介加代、介加名詞短語。。。

不嚴格的講 你可以把這句話用逗號分開 看成兩句話 ，不一定賓語就是整個句子的賓語，從句中可能存在幾個賓語。

介詞短語很抽象這很難說清楚！但可以舉例子說明：

1。形容詞

Her pronunciation is far from perfect。她的發音遠

2。副詞

His uncle is from abroad。

他叔叔從國外回來。

3。介詞短語

The boy jumped from behind the door。

這男孩從門後面跳了出來。

4。動名詞

On arriving in Venice。we knew that it was a city of water。

5。動詞原形

The policeman could not help but let him go。

警察無可奈何。只好讓他走了。

6。不定式

The plane is about to take off。

7。數詞

8。分詞

9。疑問句+不定式短語

10。從句

She got very angry because of what he had said。

她因為他說的話而非常生氣。

OUR SCHOOL是介賓短語。在這個句子充當定語。由於three-fourths of the students are from the north 已經是一個完整的句子。將in our school 放在students後面句子顯得結構雜亂！於是將狀語提前！同樣做主語的修飾。
