武松殺死了西門慶，就被髮送了孟州充軍，又在十字坡結識了張青和孫二孃。但是這些都不夠精彩，唯獨這集裡的武松醉打蔣門神最為精彩。

本集中，武松為了個人的友誼而去幫助施恩奪回快活林和在路上每家酒官都吃上三碗酒，這兩點，就知道他有著放任一己的感情。

而他在打蔣門神之前的挑逗更是精彩，先是到酒官裡找茬，然後把蔣門神惹急，在狠狠的打他，這能證明武松是個粗中有細的人。

他在挑逗時還可分成幾個細節，三次換酒，之後說讓蔣門神的小妾陪他喝酒，酒飽不讓，就和他們打了起來（這裡包括蔣門神）。
